The volume contains 3141 biographical references of the Ukrainian liberation movement leaders of Volyn’ and Brest oblasts (regions). They cover the years 1930–1955; the period of the OUN struggle on these territories. The collected information covers all societal levels, from the village to the region. The organizational schemes provided here, the changes in the leadership, and the index of their pseudonyms (nom de guerre) make the book functionally useful. The biographic notations are based on a considerable source base and provide little known facts about OUN and UPA activity. The book, therefore, should be useful to researchers of the Ukrainian liberation movements, of the Regional Studies and to all who are interested in the past history of Volyn and Western Polissia.
