Book 34. OUN in Eastern Ukraine in 1943–1945. Edited by Serhij Volianiuk

This book features a previously unpublished manuscript of an unknown author, the text of which was compiled in the underground in 1946. The publication is a valuable source of information for the study of the OUN’s and the UPA’s activities. It includes important data on the social, economic and national situation in Dnieper Ukraine. In addition, the book sheds light on the activity of the UPA raiding detachments in the central oblasts of Ukraine. The publication also provides information on the activities of the OUN’s special operative units, which in 1944-1945 were dispatched to enhance their presence and engage in organizational operations in these territories. Finally, the book includes a realistic assessment of the OUN’s position on this terrain, which came to serve as a practical program of operations for the OUN network in Dnieper Ukraine.
