This book is dedicated to the insurgents of the Pechenizhyn kushch (squad) of the OUN underground in the Kolomyia area, who were identified in photographs from the Yavoriv UPA archives during the last few years. They remained unidentified for a long time and were listed as unknown in the photographs. Now, in addition to the photo identifications, readers are presented with 12 biographies in which their participation in the struggle came to light – a struggle which was one of the most heroic battles for freedom of our nation during the 1940s and 1950s. This publication will be of interest to a wide range of readers, especially in light of the latest bloody war for independence against the eternal enemy of Ukraine – Muscovy.
