Volume 17. OSYP DIAKIV – «HORNOVYI». Documents and Materials

This book is devoted to the life and activities of Osyp Diakiv «Hornovyi», one of the leading ideologists of the underground in Ukraine, member of the OUN Leadership, Vice-Chairman of the General Secretariat of the UHVR, and Lieutenant Colonel of the UPA responsible for political education. The main corpus of the book contains his creative heritage and correspondence. Documents about his schooling, arrest and incarceration by the Soviets, the circumstances surrounding his death, as well as memoirs of the persons with whom he worked very closely are also included here. Most of the documents and materials are being published for the first time. The book presents the most complete description of the life and activities of O.
